{anticipation.}

When I first talked with this cute momma to be, she mentioned that her style is more black and white and very simple! It was a great sessoin and I can't wait to meet her sweet baby boy.

{last holiday family of the year!}

Boy, oh boy! these past few months have definitely been filled with a lot of beautiful families! I feel so honored and blessed that so many of you have chosen and entrusted me to capture your families sweet little moments. Just for fun I went back and counted just how many families I have had the pleasure of meeting since the beginning of September (which is usually when the holiday rush begins) this family makes the grand total of 73! I then went to my archive of 2008 (Sept-Dec) where I had just 26 sessions in those same 4 months last year. What a difference a year has been for my little business! I feel so blessed and am in complete awe that I have more than tripled my clientèle within a year!! I truly believe I am the luckiest person in the world! I get to do what I looove doing, and I work with the most amazing people... YOU! Thank you for allowing me to make my dream a reality!
Without any further blabbing... I have had quite a few return clients from last year come and visit me again this year, and I love seeing how they grow! This sweet family of five, didn't change too much.. but those boys sure got taller! It was so nice to see you guys again!

{i'm back!}

Wow- I am finally getting caught up with things, it is amazing!! It's been a whole six days since my last post, seems more like a month! But I'm back! Love this sweet family, who braved the cold weather... although they did luck out and we got this session done a week before Portland hit 22 degrees, yikes! Aren't they all adorable? Don't get too excited... they are all taken!

{Miller. Seven Days.}

I'm back! We survived! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend! Now to get caught up on all these galleries and previews!
It's been a few weeks since I have had a newborn session... I missed them! Miller was the perfect baby boy- such a sweet sweet baby. Hardly heard a peep! He is the fourth child into this beautiful family, and is so loved.

Just had to sneak this one in of the two big sisters. While little Miller was being fed, Miss S had a great idea; "Let's sneak a picture of me and my sister, so my mom can put it up on her blog! It will be a great surprise!" {How can I resist?}

{Mini-Session Previews!}

Last Saturday I put together a mini-session day, it was the first time I had ever had so many sessions in one day, but it turned out awesome. I was able to meet some beautiful families, and the weather... well, we dealt! Here are just a few, all I have time to put up tonight, I'm sure I'll add a few more next week! {Your CDs will be ready at the end of next week! Don't forget to email me your addresses!}
I am leaving out of town for Thanksgiving, all emails, orders, and phone calls will be replied to... when I return on the 3rd of December! Happy Thanksgiving!

All I have to say is this momma and daddy, are my heroes! 4 kids under the age of 3, and such gorgeous kids they were! How cute is the littlest? 2 weeks old and just slept straight through it all! Don't you just love the color coordination? Perfect!

I love meeting up with this family- I first met them last year around the same time, and it's always a pleasure. I love working with large families.. nothing like all that love!

Such a sweet family! These two little ones were just kind as can be, so well-behaved... and just very pleasant! I loved seeing the bond between them, it is what I hope my two babies will be like when they get a bit older!

Twins! Yay! I love working with twins! My second set of the day! Although it got quite tough getting these two to crack at the same time.. we still managed a few! I have a lot of twins on my calendar, and I get excited each time... there is nothing like the friendship involved with a set of twins.

{under the bridge}

when this cute family mentioned wanting to meet up under the St. John's bridge, I was super excited! I love new locations! This one was awesome! In fact, I decided to hold 6 mini-sessions there the same day {previews coming tomorrow!} Why hadn't I heard of this park before??? One of my new favorites!
{please note: I will be out of town Nov 25th- Dec 3rd, please place digital orders by midnight tonight if you would like them to be sent out before I take off!}

even though it was a bit chilly, we saw the sun at this session, which is always rare for a November session! ill take anything i can get when it comes to this Portland weather.. as long as it's not the cold rain!
it was fun to catch up with this family a bit- we miss our old neighbors, now you guys just need to move out this way so we can have our fun bbq's again!

{sweet brothers}

I think every session from here on out was freeeezing! I have the bravest clients! Sweet baby Lily, got a little cold mid way through the session and her sweet brothers did everything to try and make her happy, my favorite trick: two little boys singing "twinkle, twinkle little star" to their baby sister. So precious!
