clicking my heals..

And... I am off! Off to a sunny sunny place, to celebrate my husband and I's FIFTH anniversary! I will have very very little access to internet, any last minute orders will have to be completed by Friday afternoon for me to receive it. I will be returning Feb 11 hopefully less stressed, more hairs on my head, and a few shades darker!? We'll see...

The anticipation of what lies ahead. It's a beautiful process, what a lucky couple!

I really have to give it up to all my recent clients who are totally braving this brrrrr cold weather with a smile! I am very impressed! This maternity session was so much fun! We got to shoot at one of my new favorite locations, I love it! They were up for anything, and were just the sweetest couple ever... you could tell the excitement they had to meet their first baby girl in a month or so. Congrats, can't wait to meet her myself, she's going to be beautiful!

you'd think it was summer!

I showed up to this engagement session-- in the middle of January, windy, I mean seriously freeeezing cold. This brave brave couple were in t-shirts and flip flops! BRAVE, brave souls! But such a a cute couple, I'll let the pics speak for themselves... congrats on the engagement!

a bit of change for 2009

I just wanted to make a post about a little change I decided to make in my pricing. I have been debating it for quite some time, and have finally decided on changing things around a bit! The biggest change I made was my session fee, there will be a flat rate, instead of a single or family fee. Also, I have added some package options. lucky little girl

This little lady woke up Christmas morning with a new best friend licking her face! What a sweet surprise from Santa, for a sweet sweet little girl, and such a great idea to capture these sweet little moments before they both grew anymore! Such a pleasure... as always!!

a visit from grandma

I was able to photograph this sweet, beautiful newborn a couple weeks ago, so when I got contacted by her mom again to do a Grandma Session, I was delighted! These kids love there grandma, it was very apparent, and what a lucky lady she is! I'm sure they are all missing her by now, wishing her trip out to see them lasted a little bit longer. I had a friend come over and talk photography... we used our kids as our subjects, this is her little guy, isn't he a sweetie pie?

This little guy, born a few weeks early, was still just as tiny as ever when I photographed him at 2.5 weeks. I always warn parents when I first arrive, when we do bare skin shots (which are just the sweetest), and you take the diaper off... you just expect to see what the diaper is supposed to catch, let loose without warning. Well this poor dad got it more than I have seen in a long time! They were all such great sports, hopefully the photos are worth the mess!

This sweet little angel became her families most valuable gift this holiday, when she decided to debut on Christmas day!
