aw, i love it!

Oh, I am so excited, this little guy starts my spring baby boom! Anyone knows, my all time favorite to photograph are newborns! I met this sweet boy this past weekend, and of course, will have a few more to share... but couldn't help sharing this one right now...

I got to spend the afternoon with the sweetest little guy! Who absolutley loved his tummy... we would place him on his back and he'd role right over, I loved it! He had such a happy personality, and loved the camera, my kind of baby! His parents couldn't get enough of their little five month old. Cute, cute family it was so nice to meet you!

Farewell Portland

It was a beautiful morning, we got lucky with no rain, but boy oh boy was it chilly! Before taking off and moving to another state, this sweet family wanted photos that represented this chapter in their life... in Portland! Again, hats off to you guys for braving this cold weather-- good luck with the move and relocating! Here's a few I couldn't help but share...

And... I am off! Off to a sunny sunny place, to celebrate my husband and I's FIFTH anniversary! I will have very very little access to internet, any last minute orders will have to be completed by Friday afternoon for me to receive it. I will be returning Feb 11 hopefully less stressed, more hairs on my head, and a few shades darker!? We'll see...

I really have to give it up to all my recent clients who are totally braving this brrrrr cold weather with a smile! I am very impressed! This maternity session was so much fun! We got to shoot at one of my new favorite locations, I love it! They were up for anything, and were just the sweetest couple ever... you could tell the excitement they had to meet their first baby girl in a month or so. Congrats, can't wait to meet her myself, she's going to be beautiful!

you'd think it was summer!

I showed up to this engagement session-- in the middle of January, windy, I mean seriously freeeezing cold. This brave brave couple were in t-shirts and flip flops! BRAVE, brave souls! But such a a cute couple, I'll let the pics speak for themselves... congrats on the engagement!

a bit of change for 2009

I just wanted to make a post about a little change I decided to make in my pricing. I have been debating it for quite some time, and have finally decided on changing things around a bit! The biggest change I made was my session fee, there will be a flat rate, instead of a single or family fee. Also, I have added some package options. This little lady woke up Christmas morning with a new best friend licking her face! What a sweet surprise from Santa, for a sweet sweet little girl, and such a great idea to capture these sweet little moments before they both grew anymore! Such a pleasure... as always!!

a visit from grandma

I was able to photograph this sweet, beautiful newborn a couple weeks ago, so when I got contacted by her mom again to do a Grandma Session, I was delighted! These kids love there grandma, it was very apparent, and what a lucky lady she is! I'm sure they are all missing her by now, wishing her trip out to see them lasted a little bit longer.
