moving on. new blog!!!! yippeee!

This blog has been with me from the very start. My very first session.. until now. A little over 2 1/2 years, 367 posts. I have loved it. However, it's time for a change. I am SO excited to show you what I have been working so hard on, a new and very improved NEW PHOTO BLOG! This blog will allow larger photos, and a whole lot better quality.. which will hopefully display my work that much better. MORE rain.

I met up with this family at a beautiful winery, with the most amazing, I'm talking, amazing view! Such a shame that it literally down poured the entire session, and we were unable to use this gorgeous view for not one shot. Is anyone else just fed up with this Portland rain? We better get a good summer out of all this!
Nonetheless, we still got some super cute shots of cute little Kellen, and his family. Had fun with black and white with this little guy.. don't you just love that grin?

P.S. all those patiently awaiting thier mini session preview... they are coming... I'm afraid I am a bit on overload and will hopefull get them all up this weekend. So stay tuned!

rain.

As mentioned before, I have had way too many re-schedules due to Portland rain. I am just about fed up with this rain.. maybe I live in the wrong state! This cute family was amongst all the re-schedules. So you can imagine my fear, when I pulled into the Pittock Mansion.. along with a very black rain cloud. Ick! But this family were troopers and stuck through the sprinkles.. luckily there was no down pour! How adorable are they? Love the colors they wore, and all the kids had the most fun personalities.. giggly, and just plain cute! As we were leaving.. I mentioned, to this Momma of four.. they make having a four children look very desirable. What fun bunch, and a lucky little gal to have 3 handsome brothers!

Ethan. {8 days new}

Cute little Ethan! I first met this family, as I photographed Ethan's big sister Brookelyn, as a newborn. Now Brookelyn is running around and she has a sweet little brother, who I must say looks just like her as newborn.. with just a little more chunk! Ethan weighed in at just about 10 lbs. He has the most adorable rolls, and smooth complexion. What a sweetheart! Meet Ethan...

I don't post photos of my own little ones on this blog often enough, so due to yet another re-schedule because of this {not so summery} rain Portland is being drowned with, I was left with a bit of free time this afternoon.. lucky for my gorgeous daughter, I was definitely in a snap happy mood.
Avery, my baby girl, you ask her how old she is, and she will respond with, "just about three." Which is true, she will be three in three weeks today. Everything about children happens too fast, and I am afraid it will never slow down. Which leaves me with the excuse to take pictures of my sweet babies every minute of their blinking days. I can't believe my little girl will be three, oh, how blessed these years have been. Here is my little Miss, as she batted her beautiful blues this afternoon. So in love with this girl.

Hannah {9 days new.}

Very fitting that this beautiful little girl's last name is Gerber. She is definitely as cute as a Gerber baby! Little Hannah came a bit early, and was welcomed into the arms of two very loving parents. I can't tell you enough how much I looove photographing these newborns! This sweet angel snuggled up and was off to dreamland for most of my visit, she was such a good little newborn and was just content as can be, even sneaking us a few smiles!

We love this family, mostly because they are family. See any resemblance? This is my sister's cute family. Their cute Cade made me and my sisters aunts for the first time and he stole our hearts.. just as much as when his cute sisters came!

Dylan {13 days new.}

What a beautiful baby boy, wow, so adorable. Check out that hair... oh, I am in baby heaven. I am loving all these newborns I have had the pleasure of photographing this month! Nothing sweeter in the world than a brand new baby. Little Dylan, was such a prince, he curled and snoozed away the entire two hours, letting me pose him however way. He is quite the dream baby, pretty sure his parents feel the same.






Quite possibly my new favorite momma/newborn shot.. so precious.

Grace {6 days.}

Oh, little Grace you are so loved! I love adoption stories, everyone so unique and special. This couple is so deserving of this sweet little blessing, and I am so happy for them being able to welcome the newest addition to their family. Yet another 9lb baby girl, she has the most beautiful skin and plump little lips, just perfect in every little way. Aaah, it was definitely a pleasure meeting you, Gracie.
