I love shooting downtown Portland, every time I show up, the atmosphere changes just a bit, especially in the fall. We were lucky enough to have great weather- and have perfect fall colors surround us!

What I enjoy capturing
Although I primarly would love to focus my photography on children, I also enjoy catching the bond between a family, and moments between lovebirds. However, you wont find me anywhere near someone's wedding day!
My Photography Style
As a photographer, I feel I have a unique style. When I photograph, my inspirations come from just following your kids as they play and interact with your family. During a session with me, children are encouraged to run, laugh, play, sing and do whatever makes their sweet little hearts content. A session usually does not go well when parents force their children to "sit still and smile". I prefer to capture your kids as they are, a glimpse of their personality, so you can look back and remember how they were. So just let them be. I prefer shooting in all natural light, very little flash equipment. I feel natural light opens up a child's eyes and pictures them perfectly.

First of all, they're a beautiful family. But also Jenni, wow, I'm so impressed with your skill! Every time I check your blog I love your work more and more. Whenever we're in Portland again (in a year or so hopefully) we'll have to put your skill to work for us :) We'll have a one-year-old then, crazy!
Awesome pictures!! Yay! The girls are beautiful and you captured it perfectly! I love my nieces :)
