Sweet Caleb is so loved, the anticipation of his birth grew as he decided to make his grand debut a little later than expected. His parents sure have an adventure of a birth storey to add to this little guy's baby book! My hat goes off to this couple who definitely had to endure much to finally hold their precious baby boy. I think they'd agree when I say, he was completely worth the weight. Such a beautiful baby.
families! Okay, my families favorite families! Confused, yet? Bethany and I met in middle school, became super close in high school... and have only gotten closer since! She is one of my best friends, and our kids adore eachother! Bethany is the momma to four beauties... I'm sure you recognize the littlest.. Mr. Preston. He has graced this blog more than once! You even got to see his grand entrance to the this world. Whats even better? Not only is Bethany an awesome friend, but she is also an awesome photographer as well! Perfect, right? Yep, we were made to be BFFs. We love this family.
isn't he? Rad. It's the perfect word for my cute nephew, who had the cutest motorcycle party to celebrate his third birthday. Happy birthday little dude!
Those blue eyes and that gorgeous red hair is almost too much to handle! This little guy is adorable! I was lucky enough to meet up with him on his actual birthday! I didn't get too many smiles out of this little one, but he gave me plenty of contact with that sweet, to die for, look. Hope you had a great party little man!
That's where this sweet family is headed this week, they are moving from Portland and wanted to capture some memories from their time spent here. I have done this with several families that move from Portland and I think it's such a great idea! Talk about cuteness! Look at their adorable daughter! Who can resist those kissable cheeks, and plump little baby lips! She is already a little heart breaker! Too adorable! Good luck with your move.. hope you were able to enjoy some sunshine in between packing those boxes, and hopefully you got to see these before you took off! See what I mean? Check out those smackers! Cute!
I love photographing this family, these two little ones have the cutest of smiles! Little Madison is the sweetest little girl, the last time I photographed her I beleive I had to hide while I took photos so she wouldn't see me.. otherwise the tears would come! But you give her a half hour to warm up and she whips out the cutest giggles of all! Happy Birthday sweet Madi! We had to get a few of handsome big brother, he did such a good job helping make his little sister smile. You can already tell he is going to protect his sister as they grow older.
What a fun, fun session! This little guy was up for anything, so sweet, just peacefully slept while I molded him where I wanted him! Such a calm temperament, and so loved by everyone around him. A first grandchild who will surely be spoiled with love. A newborn session never ends without these little guys doing their duty on someone or something... it's what happens when you get them warm, fed, and clothes less! Eli sure did his fair share... and his new daddy got the worst of it! I say it at almost every newborn session, but it cracks me up how this always happens with daddy! Such a good laugh! Meet sweet baby, Eli...
Although I primarly would love to focus my photography on children, I also enjoy catching the bond between a family, and moments between lovebirds. However, you wont find me anywhere near someone's wedding day!
My Photography Style
As a photographer, I feel I have a unique style. When I photograph, my inspirations come from just following your kids as they play and interact with your family. During a session with me, children are encouraged to run, laugh, play, sing and do whatever makes their sweet little hearts content. A session usually does not go well when parents force their children to "sit still and smile". I prefer to capture your kids as they are, a glimpse of their personality, so you can look back and remember how they were. So just let them be. I prefer shooting in all natural light, very little flash equipment. I feel natural light opens up a child's eyes and pictures them perfectly.
