{winter.}

okay, I know it's not officially winter just yet, but this session was totally winter weather! this family held out like champs! brrrrr... cold! as much as I love the photographing at the pittock mansion, this was the last of the year! farewell for a bit.. well, until the sun shows it's face again!

{brown-eyed beauties}

seriously, these girls have the most gorgeous big brown eyes ever!
even though it was a bit chilly, we saw the sun at this session, which is always rare for a November session! ill take anything i can get when it comes to this Portland weather.. as long as it's not the cold rain!
it was fun to catch up with this family a bit- we miss our old neighbors, now you guys just need to move out this way so we can have our fun bbq's again!

{sweet brothers}

I think every session from here on out was freeeezing! I have the bravest clients! Sweet baby Lily, got a little cold mid way through the session and her sweet brothers did everything to try and make her happy, my favorite trick: two little boys singing "twinkle, twinkle little star" to their baby sister. So precious!

This sweet little lady, is beyond loved. I got to meet not only her sweet parents, but grandpa, grandma and auntie too! They were her complete cheering squad! I warned them, I may be calling them soon to come along with me to every session- they sure got little Ellie gigglin good! What a special little girl, and such a sweetheart too! Happy early birthday little one!

{sunshine... to hail, again!}

portland weather, it's just weird! when I showed up to this fun session, the clouds broke and we had great sunlight coming through the clouds... about 15-20 min later... the hail came.. again!
we got cute shots nonetheless! although, it turned out I was pretty scary to miss madison! I'd look at her and her cute grin would turn to tears... I kept my distance! so sad!

I love meeting up with this family, they are adorable... and I love how lil mr Blake looks just like his Daddy, and Lucy looks just like her mommy! These little ones were adorable as usual, and loved to explore all on there own, curious as can be!

just because i finally finished preston's gallery, and had to share a just a few more. that's all. it's 2am. night!

... but what a lucky guy to have 4 beautiful girls in his life! Love this family and their friendship!

{here comes the hail...}

i almost hate to say it, but our nice fall days may have come to an end? days are starting to get a little more gloomy than usual... making our nice natural light fade faster and faster! we luckily got a bit of a rain break {which ended in a HUGE hail storm} with this cute family, whom I started photographing when momma was pregnant with her first, did little Kenzie's newborn, now she is one- and her momma has a little mr. on the way!

... and parents too! i loooove photographing twins, theres nothing like the bond between them, and it's so easy to catch! we had quite the winter of a morning, it was freeezing! I couldn't believe what good sports these babies were through this nasty weather, you would never know in the photos!
