caught in a storm

I'm trying to get back into the swing of things after the crazy Christmas rush... if you are waiting for your gallery or sneak peak... it's coming, I promise!

We got caught right in the middle of a nasty nasty snow storm for this families session... we quickly made a detour when we showed up to our destination and there was barely any visibility! How adorable is this little winter baby? Little H was full of yawns and smiles, at six weeks old she already has the sweetest little personality. Look at those lashes, what a little heart breaker! Here is a little sneak peak for her just as sweet parents. Congrats on your little bundle.

So, this gorgeous soon-to-be mother of three, was just stunning. She actually has two little babies in that tummy of hers, yes, she is pregnant with twins! Can you believe it?? She looks just awesome, she had to push her tummy out to get the real effect for a few of the shots. I would have her sit/stand somewhere... and her belly would disappear! Incredible, seriously. I'm just soo excited to meet her two little ones in just over a month or so!

I really need to stop doing this whole double posting thing... but it's too fun! I just finished little A's album, and got excited about these bw conversions, just can't say it enough, beautiful little girl.

Well, a whole year has passed by! She is now celebrating her first birthday. She is still just itty bitty and the sweetest little girl ever! I don't know if I should even try to explain how beautiful little A's eyes were... not sure if you'd even believe me! Her mom and dad need to lock the doors now! Those boys will come a knockin!!! Gorgeous gorgeous baby girl, thanks for visiting me again!

I swear, the weather has held out this year... I have had soooo many sunny days, and only one cancellation due to rain, how lucky is that? I mean we do live in the NW. This session reminded me of how crazy nice it really has been... because, man was it cold for this family! My fingers had to defrost for sometime afterwards! But this family did totally awesome!! Half of them were even in dresses, thanks for sportin the cold so well, I had a great time with your family. Just a few from our fun session a few days ago...

m&m's to the rescue.

Good thing mom came prepared with those sweet little candies, they sure worked like a charm! These kids were just the sweetest to work with, and check out their style... my, my have they grown since last year! I'm hoping I can find the little ladies coat in my size somewhere? Thanks for working with me and my bad sense of direction, I really shouldn't leave home without my GPS. Hope you like a few of my favorites from our session!

four days old.

Here she is, little Miss K, all four days of her. She is such a beautiful baby, and did such a great job for her first little photo shoot. I always tell those who schedule newborn sessions with me... day #5 is just magical... K is living proof, I could posted her whoooole gallery. But we will leave a little bit as a surprise for her mom and dad. Hope you enjoy your little preview!

Just finished this families gallery last night and found this little sequence, and thought it was sweet and had to share.

Such a dreamy lil guy.

Isn't Mr. K man just a beauty? Good thing I got an allergic reaction to their dog... otherwise, I probably would have stayed until daylight was gone and they kicked me out! He was such a joy, really, a perfect newborn to photograph. He was awake when I got there so we got some great awake shots... then he drifted deep asleep not long after and we go those sweet sleepy photos as well. Perfect. I tried, I really did. But it was nearly impossible narrowing this families new addition photos down to just a few. So here is what I came up with...





And of course, some with their first baby.
